Having started in the 1980’s as a small Western Canadian grass roots company, they progressed as a full faceted National Agency in the mid 2000’s servicing all Canada. In 2008 Foster & Associates acquired a Sales Agency, whose company had been around since the 1970’s. The growth Foster & Associates have had allowed them to expand their service offerings to include not only Sales and Marketing, but also Consulting.

We are a well-respected and progressive agency who specializes in various markets spanning across Canada.

BRENT FOSTER

During Brent’s 25 years as a sales professional and managing partner with Foster & Associates, he has helped define the company culture: humble, hardworking, and accountable. Immediately after graduating from BCIT, he got to work in helping build the business one relationship at a time. By investing respect, reliability, and good communication into these relationships, Brent was able to build an empowered team as well as an international, multi-industry network. Thanks in part to Brent’s pioneering work, major retailers, wholesale partners, and recreational OEMs throughout Canada now count on the support of Foster & Associates.

Married with two boys, Brent is a “family comes first” individual. A enthusiast
for the outdoors, playing practical jokes, and driving fast cars, he plays as hard as he works.

BENOIT ROBILLARD

As a territory manager with Foster & Associates since 2017, Ben is known for his great communications skills, account management experience, and responsiveness. After graduating as a telecom technician in 1999, he accumulated more than 15 years of experience in project management, quality assurance, operations, and account management as a Senior Manager within the telecommunications industry. He extended his education with a business management degree from HEC Montreal in 2016.

The French Canadian and fully bilingual Ben loves ice hockey, which he plays all year long. He was a youth hockey volunteer coach for more than 10 years. In the summer, he also likes golfing when time and weather allows.

BRETT CARTER

Brett is our Territory Manager for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He studied Business Management with a strong focus in Sales and Marketing before joining Foster & Associates’ sales team. Over the last five years, he has concentrated on OEM, national retailers and Industrial/Agricultural Distributors to successfully increase visibility to our suppliers.

At one time, Brett had a professional football career playing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He still keeps active by playing multiple sports, and also loves to travel and explore.

DANIEL GONZALEZ

Daniel has been with Foster & Associates as a Business Analyst and Digital Marketer since graduating from the University of Calgary. He combines a rare complement of skills in the industry, marrying data skills with supply chain management. He oversees the databases of customers, performing forecasting for their accounts, and managing EDI communication. He interfaces with major national retailers’ purchasing and supply chain teams.

The Venezuelan-born, Spanish-speaking Daniel enjoys playing sports and hiking the Rockies in his spare time.

ROB ANDERSON

We are pleased to introduce Rob Anderson as our Product Specialist based out of Toronto, ON. Rob is a recent graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in biomedical science and pursued a post-grad education in finances & business.

Rob is born in Toronto and is an automotive and truck enthusiast, as well as an avid outdoorsman. Rob has always enjoyed working with people and is thrilled to be on board promoting and selling the great brands we represent. He is looking forward to travelling across Ontario building new relationships and helping to grow the Ontario market.

LAURA OLSON

Laura is a sales professional, with over fifteen years of experience. Her goal is to continually educate, motivate and support her customers in helping them to increase sales and market share. She found her start in the sporting goods industry and has since had a decade of rewarding positions within the automotive, towing, and LED lighting markets. She has successfully built and maintained accounts across the prairies for Foster & Associates.

When not traveling, Laura enjoys playing Gaelic football, creating new dishes in the kitchen, and the occasional Netflix binge.

SEAN FOSTER

As a managing partner with Foster & Associates, Sean Foster has invested 22 years into building a thriving business that now serves multiple industries across Canada. After studying business management and sales and marketing, he started his career with a large national telecommunications company in Vancouver. But with his energetic personality, enthusiasm for sales, and diverse business expertise, Sean decided to join Foster & Associates and moved to Calgary to grow the company. Nowadays, the business enjoys the fruits of Sean’s investment: enduring relationships with industry partners and customers, and expansion into several vertical market channels.

Sean is married with two boys, and spending time with family—preferably outdoors—is a high priority. With a passion for the Rocky Mountains, he backpacks, hikes, skis, fishes, and spends time in a boat whenever possible.

TOM WOINOSKI

Tom Woinoski is a Sales and Marketing professional who brings over 25 years of Sales experience in Automotive / Power Sports / Commercial Vehicle / Off Highway OEM and Aftermarket segments. For the past 25 years, Tom has worked with Fortune 500 Companies in Sales Management and Account Management roles. Tom has made a tremendous impact for Foster & Associates in Ontario and is a welcomed addition to the TEAM.

Tom was born and resides in Ontario. During his off time Tom enjoys golfing and trips to Northern Ontario.

DAN CLOUTIER

Dan’s 40-years in the automotive after-market industry has been essential in the growth of Foster & Associates in Quebec.. He takes pride in his first-class customer service and the remarkable relationships he has built over the years. He began his sales and marketing career with a national sales organization within the automotive markets for 15 years. Dan’s energy and drive helped springboard his position with a global automotive chemical supplier as a Regional Sales Director and National Sales Director for 13 years.

When he’s not with customers, Dan can be found in his garden. His energetic personality has now given him the passion for running and physical fitness.

BARRIE BAILEY

Barrie was a thirty year veteran of a successful sales and marketing career before coming to Foster and Associates as a BC product specialist. After getting his start in residential real estate sales, he became the Industrial Sales Manager for a large electrical wholesaler’s BC division. Following this, he worked as a Territory Manager for one of Canada’s largest industrial supply companies, responsible for a 3.5 million dollar region. Since joining Foster & Associates, his specialized knowledge of BC and passion for service has helped the company grow and thrive.

In his down time, Barrie can be found exploring the byways and highways in his travel trailer or passionately working on his fully restored Jeep Wrangler.

MELISSA FORBES

Melissa has over twenty-one years of business management experience in various industries. She joined Foster & Associates in 2012. She quickly became a vital part of the team, assisting with sales, communication, and marketing, as well as overall business management. She recently completed her Digital Marketing Program at BCIT and is excited to put these new skills to work.

Melissa was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, but now resides in Coquitlam, BC with her husband and four children. She enjoys long distance running, skiing, hiking, traveling, and cooking. In Melissa’s spare time, she is actively involved with the church and brings her flavor of cooking to the homeless people in her community.

PHILIP PANET-RAYMOND

Philip has over thirty years of Sales and Sales Management experience in the Automotive Aftermarket. Based in the Montreal Area, he began as a Territory Rep for Eastern Canada and worked his way up to the position of National Sales Manager and then Director of Sales for a US-based Manufacturer. Over the last several years, he has focused on national retail chains in the Automotive, Mass Merchant, Hardware and Farm and Agricultural channels. Fluently bilingual, Philip has achieved an advanced understanding of the key components associated with managing and driving new business opportunities with National Accounts.

Philip also enjoys discovering new corners of the country as well as cooking and playing sports (of all kinds) as well as being involved in his community. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from St-Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, Nova Scotia).
